What exactly is sticking? Have you tried some WD40?

Thanks for the reply. The 4 screws that hold the latch in place will not budge. I have tried WD40 and a hammer. I figured i would take the latch out, clean and oil it , if it was in good shape, reinstall it. But first have have to get it out. Is there some easy way to get those screws loosened

Wow ... sounds like a real bear!

WD40 is all I can think of ... it spreads when you spray it and usually gets the job done. I'd try spraying from the other side - by removing the door panel.

push comes to shove, drill them out. It's ugly, but I've encountered it more than once disassembling my truck

I know in my 2nd gen. camaro, my doors would stick and the prob was that they had painted the latch mechanism and it would stick, some wd-40 fixed that no prob. And for the bolts, try PB Blaster, it is a penetrating oil you can get at most auto stores and the stuff is strong as you won't believe.
