door latches for Model A

I'm looking for a door latch that will not "pop open" when the body flexes on my 1931 Tudor. Has anyone used the "mini" bear claw latches successfully? Thanks

Yep, if you are talking about these.



Used them in my brothers Roadster and they have worked great for 15 years.

I used the minis for my '31 roadster. I also installed the Juliano's suicide door safety pins - only just because I could - but usually forget to set them:

I kept the stock latches, but used a suicide door lock kit from Mac's Antique Auto Parts.

I got the large bear claws for my fiberglass front end tilt project and they are very good quality. I bought them from this seller and he shipped them the same day. I got them quick and the best price I could find online just $29.97 and free shipping. Here are the small bear claws from the same seller:
