Door Lock Assm Question

I was thinking of replacing the Jag door locks with a tumbler assm form a Chevy or Ford or?.... Is there any problem in converting to a different type assm?
Basically what I have know is a tumbler that actuates a lever. One reason I want to change out is one of the locks looks like someone used a screw driver on it and the other I don't have a key for.

I know the keys are cheaper and the Jags have been know to have 3 or 4 different keys for the same car.
