door lock clicks

2000 silverado: the pass.side door lock dont work, just clicks.
is it the actuator? if so , is it hard to replace and the cost of the part.

Relay

My guess would be the door lock relay. The door locking mechanism is more or less trouble free but the door lock relay can short out .

However, if it is just one door lock that is not working, it may not be the relay. A bad relay would cause all door locks to malfunction.

its just the pass. side that just goes click, click, click, click .
wont lock or unlock . cant even lock it with the key from the outside, but you can unlock it with the key ( you can manualy lock/unlock it from the inside )

You have prob broken one of the plastic retainer things.... remove the panel and take a look before you go buy anything..... sometimes they just get gunked up etc....
