Red face Door Panel ideas

OK Troops, try this one. I have done everything to my truck(55 Chev) myself so far. I am up to the interior. The junk yard seats are fine, so that determined the color. The headliner is after market and just popped in. Carpet can be ordered. That leaves me door panels and the front kick panels to do. I know there is a company that makes formed panels, but they only have one style for my truck. I've been told to start with some masonite and high density foam. Is this good? What type of glue? What have other tricks do you folks know of or have tried? Anything NOT to do? Help me Obi-wan. Not to contradict my southern friends, but, you can't fix everything with duct tape!

Well Madd, I'm not southern, just live here so let me help you out. I've done my own interior and others before. Use 3M adhesive, high density foam/closed cell. Come up with your desighn and TAKE YOUR TIME putting it together. If you need some help with design or anything else let me know, e-mail or message me I'll give you a step by step.

Well Madd, I did my "55 2nd interior mostly by myself, a first time job and it wasn't difficult.
I didn't sew, but found a good and inexpensive uphosterer.
If you are interested I'll mail you some pics.
