Door skins are not particularly hard to replace. Use a cutoff wheel around the perimeter to separate the skin from the inner door frame. After the skin is removed you will have to remove all remaining skin metal from the inner door frame. Fit the new skin to the inner door and slowly spot weld it to the inner door. You may or may not have to redo the door gaps depending on how well the new skin fits.
