Door Skin Replacement

I replaced a set of door skins and am totally unsatisfied with the way they turned out. All the prep work was done prior to fitting them and the skins ended up fitting nicely onto the door shell. The problem arose from folding the edge with the Eastwood door skin pliers. They literally dented the skin in every location I had pressed. Also the fold is rippled and isn't flat along the inner portion of the shell.

I would hope that I used the pliers correctly as there's only one way they'll work. Can someone please give me a better alternative to these pliers and possibly a little walk through of the install?

Thanks a Million

"ingenious" tool lol ha ha..oh well we all make mistakes. I wouldnt use that, its too narrow and it WILL damage door skin, making little indentations. you wanna use rubber dolly on oustide and special hammer to bump skin on. Ill see if i can find pics of it.

aha...there you go..
