Yes, that 3M90 adhesive will stick to anything permanently! Call these guys, ask for Jason, tell him Jeff Jones from Bakersfield referred you. I have been dealing with them a bunch in the past couple of months. Either the Illusion (that is what I used on my truck - great stuff but limited color selection) or Whisper faux leather (a bunch more color selection) should do the trick on your panels. You need to see the softness of this stuff to believe it. This adhesive is equivalent to the 3M90 and is way cheaper. Order a couple of cans if you order material from them.

Best thing to do would be order some sample swatches of material to see what will go best with your interior scheme.

I am 100% sure you can get those panels looking better than factory original.
