door window regulator rollers on a 1969 pontiac firebird

hi i have a 1969 pntiac firebird that im working on. both of the door windows wont come up the regulator rollers are worn out does any body knows how to remove the rollers from the window regulator.

I don't know about the Firebird specifically, but the others I've done were riveted in. Drill out the rivet from the arm side, and remove the roller.

Most of the time , the new rollers you get from places like Classic industries will have a new rivet. If they don't, you can use a shoulder bolt. You can re use the rivet if you can weld it back in from the backside, but be quick when you cool the weld with your water bottle , or you'll melt the roller.

For cars that don't have replacements available, I have had to make up new rollers out of Delrin, and install them with shoulder bolts.
