Door Wire Loom ideas/tricks

Wondering what other people have used to do the same thing as this...
http://www.julianos.com/door_jamb_wire_looms.html

The latest Custom Classic Truck had a trick setup using clear tubing and a spring on the inside, since I have suicide doors that swing way out I'd be afraid most kits wouldnt' work. Wondering what "jury rigs" or hot rodding tricks people have used over the years.

Are you familiar with the spring loaded brass contacts like these wireless connectors (near the bottom of the webpage) that Painless sells? Or aren't they suitable for what you wish to do?

Unfort. I'd need to be able to still use the power windows, door poppers, adn any other accessories, but that's the right type of idea
