dorman 49241 & 49242 switch wiring

bought Dorman pwr window switches(chrome square) for my coupe project, 1 single button switch for the trunk (5 pin and 1 two button for the pwr windows). I bought AC Delco sockets and pigtails for the switches. Each pigtail has 12 ga. wires all the same color. I ohmed out the single switch and thought I had it correct but promptly fried both the switch and connector when I tried it.

Does anyone have a schematic showing the hot/ground/motor connections for the double (6 pin switch)? The pin orientation is:

O O O O

O O

The pin location looks correct as I type but when I preview the post the bottom 2 are out of position. The lower posts are direct below the corner posts on the top row.

The 4 pins on the top row all have continuity between them when the switch is in the normal (at rest) position.

Thanks
Bud

In case anyone needs them the ACD part #s for the pigtails are PT188 and PT 254.

The attached schematic should help when you OHM the switch.

I used 1983 Chevy C10 pu (which used these switches) as a basis, and found the wiring diagram for you ... see attached.
