#@%$ Dorman!

So now that Dorman/MotorMite is screwing is by having their products made in China, they just have to make it worse! How? you say? Buy putting the word CHINA in the middle of almost all of the core plugs they make.

So as I am finishing up these old Pocho 400 heads, I have to install these damn plugs that say CHINA!

That really cheeses me off!

Hard to find anything NOT made in China. Almost all of the bolts and nuts we get in from Grainger anymore are coming from China. We mainly use socket head cap screws and used to have good luck with HoloKrome but lately everything we are getting is from the Chinese. The bad thing is in every batch, some of the screws are bad. By that I mean the thread size does not seem to be quite right. Kind of like a cross between an SAE and a Metric. I guess we just have to look back at the "Good 'ole days" when we had American made items from hard working Americans that took pride in selling to other hard working Americans.

I wonder how long it will be before USA is officially taken over & renamed Cheena 2?

They already own more of this country than we do & whats left goes to India.

In the past couple of years we´ve been invaded by them, in a small town we have five Chinese restaurants. We also have a bunch of their cheap shops,
boy do they sell rubbish.
Last week a truck was stopped on the highway by the police and opened, it was full of Chinese food, all the way by road from the far east.
The decomposing mess was destined for a restaurant in Valencia.

I admit sometimes it takes a little more effort these days to find the Quality American products because theres too many greedy people that just want to maximize their profits and sell you a cheap piece of crap that will eventually fail. I'm speaking of parts for my Chevy mainly (but not limited to). Namely critical engine parts, Bearings, Gears, etc. BUT I will NEVER put that crap on my Chevy because I'm a supporter of Quality American products and dont mind paying more $$$ for a quality part.

In the past I have imported parts from various suppliers in the U.S.A. advertising in streetrod
magazines. On arrival the packaging read made in china , Some of my buddies told me that
due to environmental regulations in the U.S.A. they no longer allowed to do chrome work,
therefor the parts get made in the U.S.A. then send to china for chroming then the chinese
packaging get market that way. If any body know the facts I will like to hear the truth.
