Double Check your parts at the parts store before you take them home

I bought toggle switches for a couple of projects I'm building and my wife needed a switch for her bike speakers so I put them all on the counter and the guy rang them up and put everything, I thought, in a bag and I went home and dumped out the switches only to find one missing. Now my wife says, I'll go back to the store,HAY!, and off she goes. The guy at the store says no way did he not put all the switches in the bad, but the manager found the switch on the floor by the register........my wife was not a happy camper, and told the jerk so. He had suggest she was trying to rip them off for a $3 switch so she wasn't very gentle with him once they found the switch on the floor where he dropped it. I have not had very good luck with parts counter people lately??? First a goober at summit gives me the wrong shifter now this?? Watch your purchases guys/gals!!

I had totally opposite the luck you've been having. I was at Dacco getting a kit for a tranny and when I got back to the shop to open it, I noticed I had two sets of rubber and papers. But best of all, the bushings weren't on the reciept, but I got'em. Cha ching yeah baby!

re: Double Check your parts at the parts store before you take them home

I donīt get to see my parts until they arrived.Last delivery was a hatch seal and trim clips, 300dollars plus shipping and import,
and the stuff was for a 96 not 86 Camaro.
Anyone got tel. numbers for a good Chevy parts dealer?

re: Double Check your parts at the parts store before you take them home

Those items were "special order-no refund" and they have a time limit on returns which I cannot meet.Or pay to send the part back and pay for right part to be shipped.
I had a good relationship with the parts guy I dealt with up until now, but heīs gone, and his replacement doseīnt seem interested in foreign customers.
Some days are ***** wiping bad.
