Down leg or annular booster?

I see carbs like Quick Fuel Technologys Super Street mec sec carb can be purchased with either down leg or annular booster.

What's the difference? What's "best"?

speaking for me theres no contest, annular. whats "best" will be met by different opinions. Its said down legs flow more, but annular gives a better fuel atomazation since it has a a multi holed spray pattern instead of just one outlet. I know on street machines I like the throttle response and overall power of annular booster carbs, downleg carbs tended to be lazy.
