drag link installation

I purchased a new drag link for my 66 chevelle, but i'm having trouble putting it on. The studs seems to be too wise to go into the new idler arm that I purchased. It also does now fit into the old idler arm.

Is this spindle on right?..

Does the drag link need to be pressed into the idler arm, or is something wrong?

BTW it does fit inside the piitman arm.

I think I know how to use this now..

Here is the shot of the spindle.

It's the first time i've put a font end together, so does this look right so far?

Still I don't know about the centerlink or draglink bar and how it connects to the idler arm. Does it really need to be pressed in? Shouldn't it just slide in, then bolt on?
