drag link question....
i've seen drag links in cowl steering setups mounted above and underneath the steering arm....in the case of a heim joint end with the retaining bolt either nut end up or down....in the tierod end application ....the rod end thru from the top (nut under the steering arm)....or under the steering arm(nut on top of the arm)...is there a hard and fast rule concerning which way the drag link is mounted (assuming correct geometry) or is simply a case of best clearence and appearance? hope this question makes sense....thanks for the input

thin tin
it's usually more practical to put the steering arm up top and the drag link on the bottom. it looks a little more organized!:) have a nice day! |
