Post drag race duel range hydramatics

i have a 8v-71 detroit but would like to get my hands (donated of course) on a cast iron duel range gmc hydramatic out of a 6x6 military with the large output flange.

my friend smokey joe runs a 12v-71 with a allison hd750 4 speed but its big & heavy & very expensive & not much way to hipro it

b&m hydros can furnish every thing to hipro a hydramatic including my choice of hi stall converters. and would be less bucks to hipro it then buying a allison hd750 stock

they stood up to 1000 hp plus in drag cars and is about 500 to 600 pounds lighter then the allison hd750 allison.

just have to adadapt it to a sae #1 bellhousing but thats why god invented mills and lathes. luke has 2 hydros but they are the small out put i thinkzzz eh;

yep i'm back thinkinzzz got to find info and pics

all me old hydramatic books are in storage under a ton of stuff

i rememberzz well my friend in az had a fleet of miltary gmc 6x6 big ol gas motors and hydramatics

he put on big ol dump grain boxes and had b&m hydro rebuild them to full compitions specs.

whooo baby get down and dirty grain haulers pullin out of sand duned with grain planted on it

if they lived pullin 50,000 gross i would thinkzz one would last in a 10,00 pound race truck

yea gmc military hydramatics had a 6" ? dia flange and large park brake drum on the rear to big ujoint & driveshaft to the transfer cases on the 6x6s in de ol miltary 6x6 hydramatics
