hate to say, but a small v8 would let him have kept all the crap he ditched, and still run better times.

if you toook the rest of the stupid plastic off that car it would probably run a second faster.

BTW, lemme just ask, when somebody asks: "what does your car run?" What's the point in saying: "well it runs 21's but with no doors, no roof and no hood, it runs a 17!"

Later on that day the doctor asks this guy "how tall are you?"
"Well doc, I'm 5'9, but if I wear six pairs of shoes and stand on a brick I'm 6'5!"

Nothing new the bug that ran in the late 40s only had the cowl
sheet metal on it.
It was a model t with a rajo convertion 4 cly.
That was the cars name .I think it was curtiss Krafts car.
Remeber seeing it in my stack of magazines that i have.
