Drag racing my granny car

hi everyone. I live in hicktown usa, me and a few of my buddys are going down to the track this evening with our cars to have a lil clean fun. Im taking down my 04 ford taurus. Im assuming im going to get a few snikers. It has a 3.0l vulcan flexfuel engine. anything i could to to help it out a lil down the track? lol. this is my first time to the track period so any info on how the general process works would be helpfull..

lower the tire pressure on your spinning tires a bit, take a bag of ice and put it around your intake, remove your air filter, turn a/c off but leave windows up, take out any unwanted weight, back seat, passenger seat, spare, put some fuel additive in tank, dont fill up just enough to race, have fun.
