Arrow Draglink for '65 mustang

My buddy and I recently picked up a '65 ('64 1/2) mustang, and we need to put a draglink in it (was missing) to move it around easier. My question is, what other car model draglinks will work? You should'a seen us load it up on the car dolly, it was raining (as usual when we pick up a car) and those damn wheels wanting to go every wich way but straight. But we got the car for a song (actually a rifle) so I aint beechin!

Arrow re: Draglink for '65 mustang

The early ones used the same as the Falcon which it was based on. You should be able to still get one from a parts store or Mustang parts house (and there are a ton of them)

Post re: Draglink for '65 mustang

does it come with P/S??? cus the 65 and 66 ones power assint...drag link come with the center link.....witch is alot of $$... if it dont cone with P/s then you can find one at a wrecking place...and put it on like that or get it rebuild..

i have a similar problem...evertime i move my steering wheel the wheels dont move...i looked closer and i noticed when i move the steering wheel that the pit arm moves but the control vavle area joint doesnt move when i move the steering wheel, plus it doesnt have a bushing...
HAs anybody rebuild the dragg link by them selfs and is it hard?? i have the control vave rebuilt kit...but i havent had time to spend 3 hours on over hauing it and inspecting it..
