Well, its over for another year. It passed!!!! But barely I might add. Limit at idle for HC was 350, i had 328, CO limit was 4%, I had 3.3%.

So, when my son comes by tonight, well put the timing back where it was so it will atleas get out of its own way and he's good for another year. Hate to do it that way, but i'm kinda in a corner with this thing. Oh well, now I can get back to work on my own stuff.

I think you already nailed your problem, just too much cam for an emissions engine. I did testing for years and it is just too much hassle trying to get a hotrod to pass year after year. Of course they had to pass visual first so most didn't make it anyway.

we get 2 years up here by cancelling insurance before the test expires and reinsuring for a year.
