Drive shaft length

I've got a 1950 Jeepster that I put in a 1994 chevy 4.3 V6 with a 1994 S-10 Blazer differential. I'm using a 2004R automatic transmission. I'm looking for a driveshaft with the following dimensions. With the slip yoke pulled out 1" the length from bearing cup center to bearing cup center is 42 5/8". The cups are 1 1/8" and the bearing cups measure 3 5/8" o/s face to o/s face. Does anyone know the model of something that will fit or something that can be cut down to fit? It sure would be nice if there was a website that gathered this info. to save us all from randomly spending hours measuring drive shaft lengths. Thanks for any help.

Most likely you will need to make a trip to the driveline guy and have one made up to your dimensions..

Neel some luck.

I've had a 364 buick, with Ford t 85 Od, 401 buick auto, small block ford w/ 4 speed, SBC with jeep 4 x 4 trans, T case and stude Od all hooked together, finally blazer running gear,, about half the time I ve been able to use a tape measure and calipers and find one that worked. When looking for a drive shaft that has the right ends and just needs to be shortened I always look for one with No or minimum balance weights. It's easier to get rebalamced if the original shaft was well balanced to start with with min weight.
