drive shaft yoke slack/play. How much?
Got a turbo 400 in my 79 camaro. Wondering how much play needs to be in the drive shaft yoke. Right now it has right at an inch. Just enough to slide the shaft forward to drop from the rearend. Thanks for any help.

Assuming the 1 inch is with the car on the ground[not on a lift], then thats perfect....you have nothing to worry about.

X2^^, 3/4" - 1" at Ride Height is what's recommended.
