Drive Train Swap
I Have A 1941 Ford 2dr Sdn With The Original Running Drive Train I Am Looking Into Swaping The Drive Train With A 302 Auto Can Anyone Give Me Any Sources Such As What Is The Best Rear End For With And Fit To Leaf Springs And Mounting Hardware
And Company Info On Eng And Trans Mounts For This Project Thanks For Your Help Gerry |

You could use an 8" or 9" ford rear, not a ton of power in the 302 so no big problem there. Get on www.speedwaymotors.com and you'll find all kinds of parts related to your build. I would also try and get in touch with some of your local hot rod guys or a car club..."been there done that" kind of thing. Maybe one of them could give you some info on a local supplier, good luck.
Also DON'T trash can the old driveline, put it on craigs list or similar. It's worth $$$$ to someone. |
