Driveline question!!!

I'm getting ready to mate my rear end to my 700R4 trans and I was told yrs ago that my rear end should be 2 degrees pointing upward, is this correct? Or better yet is their a sight that shows a nice diagram or something on the proper specs to mate each one? Thanks Dana

if you're talking about pinion angle, i think if you do a search in the Hotrodder's knowledge base there will be info in there.

I have an Alston back-half installed with the FAB-9, their direction is to have the pinion at 1 to 3 degrees down. That's with a 4-link. As it turns out that's where I needed it to maintain a relatively straight shot to my tailshaft.

Good Luck
