Driver door adjusting

On my 1939 chev 2-door sedan,on the driver door. The bottom rear section of the door needs to go in-and the top rear section needs to come out more. The front part of the door seems to fit fine. Has anyone had to do adjustment on the door like this? I have factory door hinges.

What type of work have you done to the frame or body? Without physically seeing the vehicle it's a little difficult to give you a "just do this" answer. How much does the bottom need to go in and how much does the top need to come out?

Most times doors are slightly inwards (very slightly) at the front of the cabin, this is done so that rocks don't hit the outer edge of the door while driving...I don't know if this will help because i don't know how far out the door is.

If you could give a little more information or pictures would help.
