Driveshaft length ???

What do you think the minimum length of a driveshaft could be? It looks like mine will be around 12 inches if I set it up with a Turbo 400 from the Caddy.

I could swap out the tail shaft for a short one and that will make it about 10 inches longer.

Should I swap out the tail?

Lenght is not an issue, as long as the angle isn't too great.

HOW ABOUT SEVEN iNCHES?

The drive shaft in My 48 Chev COE is approx 7 inches. It is not a problem as it has the correct input out put angle. Have a wonderfull day!!

Thanks guys, That is kinda what I thought. I will be sure to set the angles as close to the stock Jag rear end as I can.

Time for a fact finding misionat the local Pick-a-Part.
