driveshaft length

i'm in the process of prepairing my 66 nova 4 door for a 350 swap. the 350 should put out 450 horses. this said i'm pretty sure i will have to replace the driveshaft with one from a v8 car. my question is what would fit that, and what can i do to make one that doesn't fit work in my car?

Not sure what would fit... but if you get a driveshaft thats longer than what you need, you can take it to a shop and have them shorten it and balance it for you, and then you'll have a perfect fit, shouldnt run more than $200 plus the driveshaft. Driveshaft should be free, just goto a junkyard and pull one thats longer than what you measured. Or even better, one thats the length you need.
