Driveshaft upgrade?

I'm gonna need a new driveshaft after putting the bigblock in the the 72 c10 the old driveshaft couldn't take it. The bbc makes somewhere around 500hp I have the eaton posi unit and 3.42 gears could someone direct me to a custom driveshaft that will hold up..Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks

Just go to your nearest drive shaft shop. They will be able to build you the perfect shaft for your truck.

3-4-8691-1X Spicer part number. 12 bolt Pinion yoke
3-3-4281X Spicer part number.. 1350 slip yoke TH-350


If you upgraded the yokes and did a shaft with 3" .083 wall.. That would make a nice strong shaft.

Got mine thru summit. It's a 3" crome moly made by Strange Engineering; as I recall it was around 200 bucks. You send dementions they custom build.
