Dropped spindles
Hey all, I want to lower my 48 Aero when I start putting back together next month. I want to lower the car. I already know I can buy blocks from Chevs of the 40's for the rear, but I don't know where to get the dropped spindles. I've looked everywhere. I do not want to cut the springs, infact I plan on re-using the stock springs for geometry reasons. Any body got some help??
Thx, Walt |

I have been rodding for a long time and know of no suppliers for dropped forged spindles for you car. I would buy a set of shorter springs......custom wound....by Eaton or one of the spring places.....They would be lower.....but maintain the same spring rate....and alignment should not be a issue...
