As far as I'm aware of Boeing did not play a part in developing Imron, it has always been a DuPont product.

Imron has become a generic trade name for a number of DuPont paints. Lately however Dupont seems to be capitalizing on the name Imron as it now has a line of automotive paints that carry the trade name DuPont Imron Elite Express, which are just two component urethane. Make no mistake, it is not the Imron of old, or the industrial Imron.

I am more guilty than Most about this
But I do wonder Why poeple ask for opinion about changing the mixing ratios
when it comes to paint
I still feel a beginner should always follow the tech sheet

So I should not admit to using lacqure thinner to reduce Urethane base on the cheap...
