Dual carbs is not normally a problem. But do you have the cam, heads, compression to support them. If not your just pooring gas down the hole. If your good to go on your engine, then you will see a great difference in your performance. Still gonna cosy a lot of gas, but it will sure look cool!!! They can be tricky to tune as well.In high school (many years ago) a friend put dual fours on his otherwise stock 283. I just bogged down.

I agree with Slider. Dual carbs look real cool on most engines. Might give you a little more power if the combination is right (cam, compression, exhaust, ignition, etc.). A single 4-bbl Holley, Carter or Edelbrock will make just as much power on a street/strip engine. Tuning a dual carb engine is much more involved too. A good carb syncronizer is almost a necessity to get the mixtures set right.
