Thumbs up

Most are Dana 60s you can find a lot of gear sets for these , i think the top is 5.38 and the stock gear sets will hold up very well, but i think 4.11 is the highest set.

Thanks Roys63.I have many project allready , however i would like to build a 53 Chevy Cab over engine someday. I am working out stuf in my head. I thinf some tall rear gears witha 700r-4 tranny would make this a Streetable truck.Of course it would be slamed and chopped.

I would recommend getting around 4:10 gears for a dually i have them in my f350 right now and i love them i have all the power in thw world low first gear but i can still go over a hundred if i want with my 5 speed my fathers truck has 5:13 gears in it and im sorry but they suck... it has to shift every 2 seconds and it doesnt go more than 75 mph before the governor cut-off kicks in and fuel flow stops
