dumb dumb wheel question...5 lug steel rim?
I have converted my 65 stang from 4 lug to 5 lug..... Need temp rims/tires to roll it around. Is there a 17"/18" x 7"/8" regular ole steel rim I can get to test my tire clearance until I decide on aftermarket rims? sorry if this is a really stupid question but I can't pull the trigger on TT II rims just yet and need to roll my heap around.

just get late model mustang rims.. often can be found for a couple bills with tires.. most are 17x8 or 9

Will the offset be right?

Late model Mustang is maybe too general a description. I don't know which rims will work for you, but I have found that the offset of rims for my 2005 Mustang is different than the offset of previous years (94-2004?). 17-18" rims are available for both year groups.

Thanks!
I wasn't really looking for "rims" as much as just some wheels to get my stang rolling around. But now that I am looking into it is seems that there are a lot of really nice choices out there beyond Tourques. Thanks again
