Question dune buggy from car frame?

i need to know how i can strip down an old ford with a 351 win in it and not get sand in the motor or mud so i can make it light and all terrian?

What kind of old Ford? Car or truck with a full frame? or a uni-body flexi-flyer?

Im confuesd.
Do you mean how can you take body parts, ect...off without getting mud in the motor? Or, how do you keep mud out after youve stripped it down and are driving it? HG
