Post Dupont Chromasystem questions.

anyone familiar with the dupont line? back in body shop class in high school we used all dupont stuff so im sorta familiar with it, sorta not. if memory serves me correctly when using Chromabase u need basemaker. right?

On a recent trip to the paint store i see dupont has a new line of clear..... the HC-7600 line. do i just need the clear and then the activator? or is there a hardener that goes with it?

Thanks for the help

The DuPont line is all I use and the Chromabase does use the basemaker. The new clear you saw, HC-7600 is a SUPER fast spot clear do not even try to paint a whole car with it. They have some new ChromaPremier clears out that are great for all overs or you could stay with old faithful 7500. The hardner is different for each clear and you need to buy the one specific to your clear. The mix is usually 4:1.
