Durable Polished aluminum looks....

ok guys I know that the Chrome looks its almost imposible to achieve without paying alot..

so how about a Highly polished Aluminum looks for your wheel?..I have seen paints like alsa or HOK chrome paint, and I like their shiny looks, but they ave very delicate if left unclear and if you clear them they lose their shine...

I like Calchrome or endurashine looks, but nobody has come with a Small Kit for us the DIYs

so the only options I have is PowderCoating with Xtream chrome

here is the How to page

and there is also Ceramic Coatings like Chromex and CermaChrome

so what do you guys think?..which one you prefer...

I was checking your post, and searched more about those Ceramic chrome paints, hey they look very nice, and the fact you can actually polish them without rubbing the paint off its so cool....I bet you could paint a whole care and polishe it to a polish aluminum looks and then clear coat the car and the car would not fade like chrome paints...

I was thinking just that, but on smaller things.. , the ceramic chrome like coatings seem to be superior in just about everything over the powder coating chrome like paint...
