Duraspark

I'm headedd to the junkyard today looking for a duraspark distributor and componenets to put in a 88 Mustang GT that has been converted to carb. latech told me what to look for, just want to make sure, before I buy the wrong thing. Any duraspark system off a 70's ford V8 will work correct? If not, exactly what kind of cars should I be looking for?

You'll need to find one from another 302. Also grab the box, preferably an original Motorcraft, not aftermarket like NAPA, carquest ect.
I would actually recommend using a GM module and the high energy coil from your efi system. You will need to mount the GM module to a heat sink.
