Dust Controle
Well I'm painting in a booth that has a lot of dust and I can't spray water all over it because there's some stuff being stored on one side of the booth. So I was wondering what the best way to not get dust in my finish is if I'm doing a complete.
I've heard of something that one adds to the clear coat to suck up the dust when it hits, instead of making a mini crater. And maybe if that doesn't exist is there a clever technique I could use like sponging the ground and walls to make it a little damp? |
Sweep and vacuum out the floor first.
Then use a fine mist nozzle attached to your hose to dampen the floor immediately before painting. I know of no additive to control dust in clearcoat...??? You might be thinking of fisheye eliminator. |
