Dwell Problems
I've got a 383 stroker and something is screwing up with the dwell I cannot get more than 12 degrees out of it on my dwell meter, had no problem before and changed the points and pretty sure they're right but i tried three different dwell meters and they read the same changed the leads on them around and still no difference. I'm advanced 5 degrees on the crank and am running twenty more on the light with no vacumn advance, any ideas what my problem could be?

Dwell
Doc here
The first thing to check is the Advance plate, be sure it isn't stuck or bouncing around.. Quite possibly the wires or a non OEM Screw could be hanging the plate up too (either advance or not..) Check to see that is is All Free and moving, and check also tour mechanical advance. Is this a single point Ignition? Doc
