dying battery

hello everyone

i am experiencing problems with my 68 firebird and her electrical system. For some unknown reason the battery continuously dies. I have replaced the battery, alternator and voltage regulator, pulled all the fuses to check for shorts and I am still on square 1. any advice or tests that i could do to help my find my problem.

thanks,

lilbandit3

lilbandit3,

Finding shorts in the electrical system is kind of time intensive but stick with it and you will win.
Disconnect one of the battery terminals and connect a test light between the cable end and the battery post.
If you have a drain on the battery the light will glow. If you have a volt meter you would be able to do the same thing.
Now disconnect wires and fuses and clocks and glove box lights and well you get the idea. When the light goes out that is the circuit that is giving you the grief.
I would say have fun but I just can't.
What I will say is
Stay calm
