Dynabrade vs. Hutchins Random Orbital Sander

All,

I am looking at 6" random orbital palm-style sanders and have narrowed down my choices to either Dynabrade or Hutchins. The Dynabrade units seem to get high praise and are actually a bit cheaper than the Hutchins. Obviously, saving a little money would be nice but the flipside is that the Dynabrade units appear to be air hogs compared to the Hutchins units. The Hutchins 6" unit is rated at 11 SCFM @ 90psi, whereas the Dynabrade 6" unit is rated at 16 SCFM @ 90psi.
My compressor is a 2-stage 5 horse Lowes unit rated for 17.1 scfm @90psi so IN THEORY I could run either unit, but the "margin" on the Hutchins is considerably better.

Given that I will be using this at home, any recommendations on either unit or preference?

Thanks!

Chris

I have a Dynabrade that I use at work and at home and love it. The only thing I don't like about it is the speed control is very touchy. My compressor is a single stage 5 hp that puts out about 14-16 CFM. My compressor will cycle on and off while I am working, so it has no problem keeping up.

Chris, I have had the Dynabrade for years without a single issue. I don't know about the Hutchens at all, but that DynaBrade gets high marks from me.
