Dynomax ultra flo x vs. regular x pipe

I found this today and it seems like an elegant way to reduce exhaust components and save some money and space: Dynomax Ultra Flo X

My question is, would it make a proper substitute for a real x pipe if installed at the correct location? Thanks

Talk about low hanging fruit! This should work if you have enough ground clearance, given most X pipes tend to get rather close to the pavement.

Thanks Bogie, It's for a 1/2 ton pickup and I think it will tuck up in the frame. I was just wondering if it would function the same (scavenge), seeing as how it is full of holes
