Post E 85 and 12:1 comp

I was told by an engine builder that I could use E 85 on my 455 pontiac. With the engine and head combo I have chosen it would be around 12:1. He also told me that E 85 is rated at 105 octane. I have a 3 duece set up for it, Will I have any trouble with carburation. Open to input.

You should be able to run that or even a little higher without problems. You might check out C&S carb specialists, they do alchohol conversions and are now offering a Rochester 3-2 set-up that is specifically for alchohol that is streetable.
