E-85 ?

What do you have to do to run e-85 fuel in and older engine (V8 chevy) and how does it effect performance? thanks

This has been discussed quite a bit and always gets heated. If you do a "search" for e-85 on this site, you will find many many threads on the pros and cons.

Yea lots of articles. It's a great thing for high compression or boosted engines.

For the most part E-85 is extremely inconistant on the blend. If you notice, the mixture percent listed at the pump has a wide range. So tuning might be an issue.

If it's an engine with a good engine management system it's a lot easier.

I intend to run it in my boat and also the blown street machine soon. I will just keep some straight ethanol in the shop so I can tweak the mixture as needed.
