e-mails

is there some way to stop e-mails when posting in a thread from telling you someone answered. drives me nut having to turn it off every time i post in a new thread.

Sure is.
Up on the left side of this page pick User CP. Then go to the Settings and Options section of the next page and choose Edit Options. Scroll down to Messaging and Notification, then find Default Thread Subscription Mode. Change the pick box to 'No email notification'.
That'll do it. It'll still list them in your subscribed threads, but not tell you every time something happens to them.
