The only place I know of is Savannah that would be worth going to within my traveling radius. River street has a decent veiw, lots of places to get brew and other goodies, stop by wet willies and have one or two. Can't ever go to or around Savannah without stopping there. I don't know of any rod hot spots around here because the cops chase us off before we get started. Charleston ain't bad if you want to see some old south historical type stuff. The road from Atlanta is pretty nice drive with the top off (any top) Somewhere in atlanta or florida maby even savannah you could rent a HD for a short cruise if you like. You can talk to Drag for the florida rod sichiation. There ain't nothing in SC but good old boys, old southern money, historical preservation, pluff mud, sugerd up southern boys, kocky marines, people that can't drive and cloudy river water. Thats just the short polite version
Have fun!HK |

Savannah is a pretty cool place to run through. The have some cool blues clubs and just great spots to chill out and look through, listen to tunes. Just stay around the city because the outer edges you can get into some pretty heavy sheet. Theres an MC club called the Wingmen that are a bunch of real nice guys too. Charleston is alright, nothing all that exciting, but they have the local chapter of the HA and some somewhat cool clubs. Nothing around here really my style, but not much is, I'm outdated HA!

HK is right about Savannah. Awesome city.
I live 12 miles NW of Atlanta. There's a Hard Rock Cafe in the ATL...need to stop by there and get a t-shirt. (Although I've never been there myself. ) We are an Olympic City if you wanna stop by the park. Take I285 on the East side and make sure to check out the big rock - Stone Mountain.

DUDE! OVER HERE DUDE! PARTY! Dern man, it's like in three weeks! Hope to be pukin' buds when it's all over. Bizzare is what we are, extreme is what I mean, unique is what we seek! To hell with the K-Y jelly, let the rubber meet the road!!!!
Other than that, I must say, old chap, that I anxiously awaite the meeting of our two seperate cultures. Till then, I'll keep the kippers fresh and put the tea on the back burner! Tell mama to tie up her knickers, for it could be a breezy ride! [ October 04, 2002: Message edited by: Madd Syntst ]</p> |

Hotrodit, Don't know what part of Fla. you're going to, but they have a lot of weekly rod runs around Orlando. Think Eustus and Sanford both have one, probably others. See ya in Charlotte,

Check out Joe Smith's Antique Auto Parts in the Atlanta area. I think he moved to one of the "burbs a few years back. He's a cool guy and has owned some really cool cars. It's Flathead Ford V8 heaven in Atlanta.
