Eastwoods Extreme Chassis Black

Has anyone used Eastwoods Extreme Chassis Black gloss on their car?

How durable is it compared to other paints and does it fade or dull if exposed to the sun or elements over time?

yep I used it see my photo gallery ......... it takes awhile to dry. If the humidity is down it helps speed the drying time.

one thing I did notice is that real lacquer thinner not home depot stuff will cut it

First time I painted the temps were 80 in the day and we hit a cold snap in the evenings for a few days last week one part took 3 days to set/dry. So consider the temps and plan on letting it stand for a good 24 hours after tack. I could leave a finger print in the pain for 2 days so dust free is a must.

Then this last weekend I painted some more parts and let it stand in the sun, it cured out in about 8 hours, but did not work the part for 24...

yep good stuff but be aware it takes more time to set then you might be use too

here are two photos of the chassis black, it is the extreme chassis black , eastwood's product.

looks good for starters, but the car has not left the building, the true test will be 5 years from now and some good old road time...

I believe it is a new product so no history out here, guess that makes me a beta tester..

How would Eastwood chassis black work on the lower pannels on a pickup to protect against chipping.
