Eastwood's spot weld drill

I just ordered one to drill out spot welds. Anyone ever used one?

I manage a shift in a company called Viking Drill & Tool. We make many of the higher end quality spot weld drill bits sold in America. We sell a lot of them, sooooo, I would think they must work. I do not know if Eastwoods is made in US or Chinese. Not to impressed with the Chinese tooling myself. Let us know how it works and if it says made in US or?

Will do Ron.

I work for a metal stamping house here in Ct. We produce mostly componets for bearings. We've lost a ton of business to the Chinese...It pisses me off..but at the same time America let it happen..We've made our beds and now we have to sleep in them.

I'll let you know how the drill works out..seems to me the first step is just being able to find the spot weld..

Take care,

Keith

I hope you ordered plenty of replacements tips. They work quite well but the teeth break off fairly often.
