eaton elocker
will this unit work in the 10 bolt that's in my 80 camaro, it's an 8.5" carrier...but i think it's for 30 spline axels instead of 28 spline, so i'd need new axels, correct?

Yes. You will need new (30-spline) axles and I think you will also need new (larger ID) carrier bearings. Call up whoever you want to buy it from and make sure they send you the right bearings.
